Our Melodramatic Acoustic Rocker!

In case you all didn't know... the music on my Blog right now is our very own Jesston Johnson. Both singing and playing. He's pretty cool. Self taught. He tells us he gets to play with John Meyer in the summer. Probably not WITH John Meyer, but at the same event. I don't know all the details but I'll let you all know when I do.

Fish'n Tourney

April 12, 2008: Shane and I fished a Tourney yesterday on Sand Hollow. BEAUTIFUL DAY! We got to Sand Hollow at 6 am. I slept in the truck for another hour before we were allowed to launch. Now it's a 40 min drive for us from Cedar to Sand Hollow, and you're not allowed to get off your boat at all during the tournament which is from about 7am to 3:30 pm. And me being a girl, have a hard time just peeing off the edge of the boat at my leisure, so of course I drain it before I get on the boat. Shane and I run the to restroom, we're rounding the bend and low and behold the mens room is "Out of Order" Bugger! Shane says' I giggle and do the Simpson "Ha Ha" at him. So I tell him after I go I'll stand guard for him. It's still early NO chick is up this early going fishing. I round the bend "Out of Order" WHAT THE!! I'm pissed, cuz I already had to go. GRRRR. what's a girl to do? It's bad enough having to keep yourself dehydrated all day, in the hot sun, while on the boat, drinking just enough to keep you alive, but now I can't even start on empty. Blah! My day was not starting out well. 2 words GATERADE BOTTLE.
We brought Gunfighter along. It was his first time on the boat. He loved it. He didn't blow off or anything. The day was so nice. Sunny, I don't remember wind at all. We are lobsters though. Not enough sun block.
We did pretty well. 4th place, one place out of the money :( All in all it was a good day.
By the way: Shane is the Poster Boy for the Utah Summer Games which he is fishing with Trey June 7th. Trey is so excited!!

To our sadness, we see very little of Brittney Ann. Thus I have not got many recent photos of the chick. Blah! But we still love her very much and miss hanging out with her. She's living in Springville, working her little guts out and chillin with her girlfriends. She's going to Super Cross in Vegas at the end of the month. We can't wait to see her!!

EASTER

We had a fun picnic Saturday before Easter. We went to Kolob Canyon. Haven't been there for years!! Good times were had there once upon a time. The water was VERY cold so it wasn't much fun to play in although it did not stop Trey from wading in. Chase just hung out on the rocks. The East egg hunt was fun. Chase is officially too "cool" to hunt for eggs now. Trey of course was all over it, hunting for candy. Trey caught a few frogs. He really wanted to bring it home. He had to settle for a picture.

Amy!...Aaaaaamy... Has anyone seen AMY? We miss you!!

My boys. I love this picture. I have the most handsome boys ever. They are so sweet and good to me. What would I be without them?

Trey has always been our monkey. Happy and ready to have fun. He always has a song in his head and his heart and it always finds it's way out his mouth. He loves to play and I mean everything.






Roo, Pie, C-dawg. What this boy can't do is a pretty short list. He love's riding his motorcycle & rip stick the best. He's always had crazy good hand eye coordination. Loves XBox and Art.
